About
Welcome to Snowy Village, a delightful oasis tucked away in New Westminster, BC. With a cozy location at 336-800 Carnarvon Street, this charming spot has quickly established itself as a go-to destination for dessert lovers and beverage enthusiasts alike. At Snowy Village, the star of the menu is undoubtedly their lavish selection of Bingsoo—a Korean-style dessert that features finely shaved ice and a multitude of refreshing toppings.
If you’ve never tried Bingsoo, prepare for an experience like no other. Each bowl is a masterpiece, showcasing the freshest fruits blended with silky snowflake shaved ice. The Yogurt Milk Bingsoo options, like their irresistible Strawberry and Mango varieties, are a testament to the commitment to quality, using 100% real fruits paired with creamy yogurt sauce. For those who prefer a sweeter, indulgent dessert, the Fruit Bingsoo selections are equally captivating, with layers of fruit, sweetened condensed milk, and creamy toppings that awaken the senses.
But let's not forget about their drink offerings! From the refreshing Iced Green Grape Ade to the classic Iced Cafe Mocha, Snowy Village provides a perfect pairing for any dessert. Customers rave about the Iced Americano and the Iced Ginger Lemon Tea, both of which offer a refreshing respite in warmer weather.
Feedback from patrons highlights the exceptional experience at Snowy Village. Isabel Dlta describes their first visit, calling the shaved ice cream the "best dessert I've ever tried," while Lauren Nguyen and Lekha Reddy enjoyed the friendly service and shared experiences with their loved ones. The warm welcome and attentive staff bring an added charm to the laid-back ambiance of the shop, making you feel right at home.

“ First time there and definitely no my last one, The shave ice cream is the best dessert I've ever tried, and the Taiyaki are amazing too! I will definitely be back! The staff was incredibly nice and helped us with our order. I wish I had gotten the name of the girl who was working today in the evening around 5 pm because she was amazing! A big shoutout to her! ”
“ My son and I shared the regular size mango bingsoo and it was delicious. The perfect dessert to share for two! Service was very friendly and not too long considering how busy they were. ”
“ The regular mango bingsoo is perfect for two. Perfectly layered mangoes and condensed milk, mango sauce and topped with fresh mango is my favourite. Wished they could replace whipped cream with ice cream but they couldn’t. Not so busy on a sunny Sunday evening. ”
“ The regular size bowl is perfect to share with two people while a large is good for 3-4 people. The shaved ice was very fine...almost like soft snow that melts upon contact with your mouth leaving a slightly sweet and creamy texture. People seem to come in waves depending if it’s at the end of a meal hour, or after a movie finishes in the theatre next door. ”
“ The Mango Yogurt Milk Bingsoo is amazing. Not too sweet, yet creamy but light and not too heavy. It’s very refreshing and the regular size is perfect for two. The mango pieces were sweet and ripe. The flavour was great and the milk ice comes in frozen shreds that are super fine and smooth. ”
“ I love everything on their menu specially bingsoo & taiyaki. Now we tried cheesey mochie & ginger lemonade soda and we like it. The cheesey mochie is too sweet for me but even though i still give it a 5/5 because its delicious. ”
“ This is my favorite place to get bingsoo, as it tastes more fresh than other places. My favorite is the cheese cake bingsoo. I have tried their other stuff like the taiyaki and the grilled cheese and those were good as well. The inside of the place is also quite nice and clean. Over all, a nice place to get dessert. Though I do not recommend the expresso flavor , just get an ice capp at Tim's ”
“ My favorite Snowy Village treat of all time is their banana milk! It’s a cool, simple healthy treat best enjoyed in the hot summer months.... Or whenever one needs a mood boost :-D! The runners up would be their taiyaki, sweet and savoury toasts and mango bingsoo. I also have to say that their employees (especially Nao) are friendly and have great customer service. This is simply why Snowy Village is one of my favorite places to go to when I visit the New West Quay area. :-D ”
